Stop the Snoring
Sleeping with a partner who snores can make it incredibly difficult to sleep. Some couples try ear plugs, but find them uncomfortable. Others turn to sleeping in separate bedrooms, but the lack of intimacy has a detrimental effect on their marriage. Turn Technology Off
In modern society, it’s common to sit up on laptops, tablets or smartphones, late in to the night. If you are feeling stressed out, you’re not going to sleep as well. We all know that. Try to relax in the evenings. Have a bath, or get lost in a book. Whatever it is that helps you leave your day’s stresses behind. Talking is also great for releasing tension. Let your partner or friends know what’s bothering you. Don’t bottle things up; you’ll be thinking about them all night.
While workout days are obviously great for wearing your body out, days off are often a problem. Try to at least go for a walk every day; the fresh air will help you relax too. It’s been proven that even 10 minutes of exercise a day can lead to a better night’s sleep.
