What is the treatment for e coli infection?

I am 32 years old and I am here to discuss my problem with you on this forum. Actually for the past one week I was suffering from stomach upset which was quite bad. I was even having heartburn and acidity. I went to the doctor yesterday where I was diagnosed with e coli infection. I want to know from you about the suitable treatment for e coli infection? Anybody suffering from the same problem as I am?
