My wife is pregnant but she is a having recurrent episodes of nose bleeding and easy bruising. When I explained her condition to the doctor he said that it could be due to impaired production of clotting factors during pregnancy. The doctor has called for a PTT blood test for my wife. I want to know the use of such blood test and what all can I expect from such a test? Anyone else undergone this test?
