1. Obesity my curse

I was too obsessed with my weight and was tired of getting comments from people. One day while flipping television channels, I stopped at channel advertising about weight reducing belt. I thought it might be fake, so decided to consult a friend who deal in these kinds of products. He advised me and actually suggested for it. I decided to get one for me and used it. The belt was actually beneficial and filled me with confidence. It helped me a lot in burning the excess fats of the body as I used it daily. My busy schedule was restricting me from getting into shape, but the problem was solved with wait reducing belt. Besides using this belt, I adopted healthy habits and decided to continue it for life time. My wife forced me to take care of myself and asked me join yoga classes too. I took time out of my busy schedule and felt too relaxed. I was in shape by body and mind within six months; a simple advertisement and my wifeโ€™s concern changed my boring life.

2. Pressing the breaks

Overweight resulted in isolation of my elder son from the other kids. He used to stare at kids from his window and never had courage to play with them. He was too sensitive and the comment of a child, calling him elephant, always echoed in his ears. He lost his confidence and his pain was hurting me. Finally I decided to help my child out; I approached a dietitian and prepared a health chart for him. This was not enough, so I appointed a trainer for him, who helped him burning the extra fats of the body. In the beginning, he had some issues with it, but later he actually realized that he is getting benefits out of it. One day my son came and hugged me and said โ€œthanks mom, I love you so muchโ€. It brought tears into my eyes and I felt too honored. My child was filled with confidence and started playing with kids.

3. Overcoming a difficult life

I was gaining weight with a great pace and my legs were not able to carry my body weight. I was advised to reduce my body weight earlier by doctors, as it was creating too many problems. I tried, but could not help it resulting in high blood pressure and diabetics. It was getting so terrible for me and I was advised for surgery. I was operated and somehow my weight was reduced. I was on medication and was strictly asked to take only vegetables and fruit juices in my diet. Regular exercises and proper food habits became my routine. Since I have reduced weight, diseases seem to run away from me. Now, I have adopted healthy habits that helped me to value my life. I am happy to live a new life where I can move on with smartness.

4. An embarrassing incident changed me

I was a very fatty girl and my giant legs were the talk of town. One day when I went for a meeting in the branch office, the mocking stares of people made me conscious. Besides my worries about obesity, people around me were making me conscious. I was very upset and stopped having meals. I kept myself on juices the entire day. My determination was firm, but took a wrong turn. It made me too weak and finally I was admitted to hospital. The doctors at hospital provided me with a proper meal chart and advised to consult a diet specialist who would control my daily activities. I worked with doctorโ€™s advice and included exercises and proper healthy diet. It was a tremendous change that I brought in my life. I reduced 15kgs of weight in three months. And now itโ€™s been a year I am perfectly in shape and gets compliments on my well maintained figure. I thank my dietitian to bring happiness and love in my life.

5. Discipline is the key

I am a pampered child of my parents and have got everything I wished for. This was one of the reasons of my obesity. I was in habit of having some or other thing after every hour or two. I gained weight and was around 70kgs when I was just 18. The time for improvement and revolution in me started when I joined college for my further studies. I was shaken by the figures of the girls in the college and that gave rise to inferiority complex in me. I used to sit in corner and feel shy, although something like this never happened with me before. My complex issues rose when a girl commented on me and called me ‘fatty girl’. That day I decided to bring myself in shape. I stared rope skipping, exercises, and reduced my eating habit. I said no to all junk foods and started eating only healthy food. Within three months I brought myself in shape and now leading a happy life. Sometimes small incidents of life changes your entire life and this is something that happened with me.ย
