Hello there! I am suffering from cough and cold for the last 3 days now. I was given mucinex syrup for my cough troubles. I have searched a lot and found that it contains guaifenesin which has many off label uses as well. I want to know if it can be administered in cough as an effective remedy? I would also like to know about mucinex side-effects from you? Anybody used this syrup previously for cough?
