My friend is little hesitant in meeting new people and I was thinking that it may be social phobia which is anxiety disorder characterized by intense fear in social situations which causes considerable distress and impaired ability to perform some daily routine works. One more thing I want to know is that, is difference between social phobia and social anxiety? If someone has any idea or know about it please tell me also. I would really appreciate. Thanks a lot!
