I am suffering from sore throat, and my doctors suggested me to consume protonix, but after consuming it, I felt that it makes the burning a bit worse. So I left taking this. Now one of my friend told me to switch to carafate liquid, because it is effective for sore throat. I have not consulted about this to my doctor, so should I switch to carafate? Are the effectice for sore throat?
