Can anyone share the treatment for osteoarthritis symptoms in the elderly?

I am 45 years old and I am diabetic for some 2 years. I had come to terms with my diabetes and I was managing it pretty well but for the past 2 weeks I think my diabetes has progressed and as if this was not enough, now I have been having stiffness in my arms, legs and spine. I would appreciate if someone can educate me about the treatment of osteoarthritis.
