I am 42 years old and I am a heart patient. I was having high blood pressure for the last 6 years but my problems have compounded since then. I was on hydrochlorothiazide and propranolol combination for the past 5 years but now due to their prolonged usage I was having some serious side effects. Now my doctor has prescribed me acebutolol.
