I am 16 years old and for the past one week I was suffering from localized pain, inflammation, swelling, and calcification of my tendon. I went for the x-ray yesterday where I was diagnosed with osgood-schlatter disease. The doctor is saying that its due to stress on my kneecap tendon. I would be very thankful if someone can tell me an effective treatment for osgood-schlatter disease?
