From last 15 days I am suffering from gout. Doctor had prescribed me lots of medicines like inflammatory drugs ibuprofen and strong pain killer codeine. And one more medicine called colchcine to reduce pain, swelling and inflammation. Now after 15 days my symptoms are reduced but still I am not recovered completely. In starting my doctor has told me that it will not take more than a week to recover. So I want to ask from you guys why this is taking so much time? And what is the best treatment for gout?
