My sister was wrongly diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and was put on high dose of prednisone. She has now developed cushing syndrome and other side effects. She was later told by another hospital that she has no IPF and should stop taking prednisone. She is now very sick with cushing syndrome. How to treat cushing syndrome caused by prolonged prednisone dosage? Which drug can reduce the steroid in her body? Please advice appropriately. I would really appreciate your useful information.
