Surprising facts about women’s heart

Heart is possibly the part of the body that is second in importance to the brain. A healthy heart can make a person feel younger from inside. However, a healthy heart is also a priced possession which many people around the world do not possess. A considerable fraction of the world population suffers from heart agonies that generally start pestering after the mid age has just said a good bye. At least that is exactly what we think, but this may not be true at all times. Here in this article, we talk about those facts about heart in women, which are specifically different from those of men and need to be alertly kept a check on.

1. Symptoms of heart problems in women are generally remote

An average adult man would generally complain of a heavy chest on the left, the position where the heart is located. It is an excruciating pain that shoots from the left side and extends to the left arm or the left side of the neck. However, these are not the symptoms which a woman is likely to see in case she is at the brim of an attack. Rather, she would complain of a jaw ache, pain in neck and arm or in the stomach, weakness and nausea. These symptoms are often misunderstood to represent an extreme acidic or gastric reaction in the body and hence are not given primary attention to. There might also be a walled hurdle to sleep. Any kind of uncomfort that is foreign to the general bodily experiences, must immediately be reported to medical unit and treatment be sought before it gets too late.

2. All fats are not responsible for giving way to heart attacks

‘Fats of all kinds are bad’ is the worst misapprehension that haunts many-a-brains around the world. The fact is that all fats are not devils! It is only those fats that are derived from red meat sources which could be murderous in nature. These are saturated fats and are heavy for the body to digest. These apart, animal fats are also a potent source of cholesterol. Unsaturated fats; or fats derived from plant sources are a wise option to go for. PUFA (Poly Unsaturated Fatty Acids) and MUFA (Mono Unsaturated Fatty Acids) are two angelic forms that would help keep a poor heart condition fathoms away. So do not avoid fats, avoid consuming fatty products that have a faunal origin.

3. People of Type A personality are not always bound to have attacks

Curious about what a Type A personality is? They are those kinds of humans, who have a very stressful kind of living – a stressful job, a stressful social life, an addicted behavior, a jumbled personality and the like. Women with such kind of personality are, of course, prone to develop heart problems, but they are not destined to have a bad heart condition. Such women should tr and uncomplicated their lives a bit, mingle up with a better group of people, look out for a more innocent job and do things which they themselves like to do.

4. Young age does not certify a good heart

It is often expected that women before menopause should not specifically show symptoms of heart attack, which is very wrong to believe. Hereditary causes or a diabetic bent of the blood are often reasons that are responsible for a heart problem in young women. It is often beneficial to keep senses opened for symptoms rather than believing in the magic of age.

5. A highly maintained weight and a controlled cholesterol level do not guarantee a good heart

It is again a belief that fat people are more likely to have heart problems. This is not true. Although these two factors are largely decisive ones, there are many more, including the way of life, the diet consumed, the hereditary posture of genes, family conditions and above all, the psychological openness of the person. A combination of all these decides your heart power. Just don’t concentrate on one factor, keep your senses opened to all of them. An imbalance in any one of these might just trigger a sorry heart state.
