I am suffering from melanoma and the doctor is telling me that surgery is the only treatment for melanoma. In melanoma some surrounding tissues will be removed. The doctor had also told me that this treatment is very painful and it takes lot of time to recover. So, I want to ask from you people, is surgery the only treatment for melanoma disease? Can anyone share his or her personal experience on this?
