I am 35 years old. I am diabetic and a high blood pressure patient for 3 years. I was managing my diseases through exercise and diet but 1 year back I had stopped all my exercise routine. Now to my problem for the last 15 days I am having severe back pain, fever, loss of appetite and nausea. When I told about my symptoms to the doctor he asked for a lipase test. What do the lipase levels suggest? And how are these related to my condition?
