Well, I had severe Pre-eclampsia and HELLP Syndrome with my first son but wasn’t diagnosed until I was in labor. I’m looking back now I had all the symptoms weeks before the labor. Now that I am pregnant again I am worried, I don’t get to see a consultant till next week at my 20 week scan. I want to know from anyone of you who have had this previously. Have you ever got this hellp syndrome in pregnancy? What are the chances of getting it again? Did you receive any extra care 2nd time around? What kind of treatment did you receive during that time? Please help me.
