What’s the effective treatment for hip pain?

Hi! I am 35 years old and I am a long distance runner for some 8 years. I have won many medals for my country but now the age has started to catch up with me. For the past one week I have been suffering from hip pain which is quite discomforting for me. I haven’t felt like this in my entire career and I don’t want my career to suffer due to this. I want the people to come to my rescue and tell me what’s the effective treatment for hip pain? Thanks!
