Bitter Taste In Mouth treatment?

I am a working professional and engaged in manufacturing sector.My age is 31 years and I am very happy with my life.I had this bad breathe problem for last one week or so which I corrected by having a mouthfreshner but recently I have encountered this bitter taste in my mouth after I wake up every morning.Is this bitter taste due the mouth freshner?I want to know from people about bitter taste in mouth treatment?
