I am 27 years old and for the past one week I am suffering from a vaginal yeast infection which is a real cause of concern for me. I have been getting a kind of fishy odor in my urine and a thick vaginal discharge which I want to get rid of as quickly as possible. I went to the chemist today only and he is advocating the use of antibiotics for my disease. Now, I would like to know from you as to how are antibiotics and yeast infections related? Are antibiotics effective for yeast infections?
