Hello, I am 48 years old and I have been a high blood pressure patient for 6 years now. I am also diabetic and allergic to thiazide drugs. I couldn’t rely on thiazide drugs for managing my blood pressure so my doctor has prescribed me amlodipine benazepril combination. I have searched a lot on these two drugs and found out that they are calcium channel blocker and ace inhibitor class of drugs but I only know this much. I want to get informed about their side-effects and dosing? Will they be useful in my case?
