My daughter is 13yrs old and has been prescribed the symbicort. How acute are the symbicort side effects? She has been told to get it daily, twice a day, for the maintenance treatment of airflow obstruction. She has chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. So is she being correctly diagnosed with the symbicort? What do you think about my daughter’s situation, how can I help her more?
