How should I treat my ulcer problem?

I am 25 years old and I will have to admit here that I am a smoker. My smoking habit keeps on getting me into trouble one day or the other. Now, for the past one week I have been suffering from stomach ulcers due to which I am not being able to eat much. I was using gelusil antacid previously but it didn’t help me much. Now I would really appreciate if someone can tell me the ways to treat my ulcer problem?
