Cold Medication For Children?

Hello all! I am mother of a 10 year old child. My child often has troubles with cough and cold. He is very much young and his immune system has not developed completely. He gets troubled by seasonal allergies one day or the other. I want to know about some cold medication for children? I want to know from the mother’s which cough and cold medication they have been administering to their young ones? Thanks!
