Left Upper Quadrant Pain?

I am having spleen disease and this is my worry for past two years. I have taken it very lightly because of which the problem has increased and it has more or less become difficult for me to do any sort of work. I always feel like taking rest, now that I have come to realize that it is left upper quadrant abdominal pain under the ribs, I just want to know how to cure this and what are the   causes for abdominal pain. If you can please explain?
