Few days ago, I have had bad diarrhea for almost a month with low fevers off and on and nauseous abdominal pain in upper right quad and diffuse abdominal pain as well, cramping weight loss and WBC from 12-17 right now at 15. I saw a doc who suspected c diff based on the fact I just finished a few days of cipro and zpack when this started. Started on flagyl 500 mg 2 times a day and stools were a little better but could not tolerate it. They started me on vancomycin 250 x 3 times a day. I had it for 4 days and Diarrheah was still there. I’m confused what to do. Could you recommend a better prescription for hafnia alvei Diarrhea? Please give the remedy as soon as possible.
