How long should I wait to take Aleve after taking Advil? And How many Aleve can I take?

Right now both of my legs are in lot of pain from exercising and you can also say that lack of preparation before the exercises. Two hours ago I took two Advil, which have not helped me. The Aleve bottle says for the first dose, I’ve never taken it before; you can take up to two pills within the first hour. So I want to ask from you guys, is it safe for me to take two pills? And when can I take these pills?

I can understand he dilemma that you are going through. It is important to be clear about the recommended dosage of any of the medication before opting for its consumption. I would like you to know that the Advil contains Ibuprofen and Aleve contains the Naproxen sodium. Both these medications are considered non-steroidal anti inflammatory drugs as well as the Acetamenophen. One thing I would like to share with you is that you can alternate Tylenol and Ibuprofen as a pain medicine because Ibuprofen is metabolized by the kidneys and Acetamenophen by the liver. So, you won’t end up doing any overdose. The recommended dosage of Tylenol is 2800mg of Tylenol and 3200mg of Advil daily. Make sure that you do not exceed these doses. I won’t recommend you to take Advil and Aleve because both of those meds are metabolized by the kidneys. The advil contains Ibuprofen and Aleve contains Naproxen sodium. I hope that now you have got the picture. It would be best to take the doctor’s recommendation before opting for any medication to be on the safe side.
