Alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) are vitamins that greatly benefit the skin. Use lotions and face creams that contain AHAs. They function against skin-damaging molecules oxygen that move as free radicals around the body. These are great for collagen growth and remove dead cells from the surface of skin. AHAs can cause allergic reaction and irritations on the skin. Therefore it is advisable that you test a small amount in the beginning and ensure that it does not have any side effects. A great way to check this would be by soaking a cloth in milk and applying it to the skin. AHA is a part of milk, sugarcane and is also found in many fruits. 4. Herbal remedies

Alike the fruits, herbs are also very effective in reducing fine lines present on the skin. Apply fresh Aloe Vera gel derived from the leaf of the plant. Cut the leaf from the base and split it open. The gel can be collected using a spoon. The green peel should not be damaged while performing this. Malic acid present in Aloe Vera helps in making the skin much more healthier and fresh.

5. Exercises

A highly desirable method for cutting down those wrinkles is regular exercising. Target the cheek muscles to minimize fine lines and wrinkles.

a. Hook the corners of your mouth using your index fingers. Gently pull the sides on the outside. Don’t stretch over 1/4 inch. This exercise contracts the orbicularis oris muscle. Press your lips in a puckering fashion. Hold the position on for a fraction of seconds. Draw the corners as close together as possible. Relax and then undertake 25 repetitions. This exercise helps prevent sagging.

b. Place the tips of your fingers over the laugh lines and then press firmly. Smile as wide as possible pressing the lines. Hold the position for five seconds then relax and undertake 30 repetitions of the same. This exercise strengthens the cheek muscles because of the resistance forced on it. This minimize laugh lines and creases around the mouth.

c. Rest your thumb around the corner of your eyes and the other fingers over your head. Close the eyes firmly and then slide the thumb around the temples. Relax and undertake ten repetitions of this exercise. Laughing causes wrinkles around the eyes because the cheeks push up hence this exercise will remove these out.
