I have developed some fat near my artery wall which is creating trouble for me. After consulting my doctor, Atherectomy was the outcome and I have to undergo this surgery to get well. I am perfectly ok with it but wish to know more about Atherectomy. I have heard that its similar to Angioplasty but its not Angioplasty. How well will it work in widening of of arteries? Is there any risk involved with it, if any, please mention.
