I am 28 years old and I am a thyroid patient for quite some time now. My disease is genetic and it has no permanent cure. I have to rely on thyroid hormones so that my glands can work properly. I was taking levothyroxine previously but now my doctor is advising me to use armour thyroid. Its a recent development according to him. I want to know about the armour thyroid side-effects and how is it different from levothyroxine?
